Göksin Sipahioglu was no more than a legend of photo journalism. He got a lot of his notoriety from his coverage of the Cuba missile crisis, and the May 68 French revolts. He created SIPA press, one of the 3 legendary photo agency with Sygma and Gamma.
You will find plenty on him on Google, better written than what I can do, so instead I will show you some of his pictures. This guys represents what I like about photography. A form of journalism that is nearly dead, at least not profitable enough to make a living from it.
